Hey folks!
I'm not good at keeping journals and blogs, but I felt I need to set up an initial journal entry to get the facts straight.
# background
Generally, I am a marketing graduate and now an interactive multimedia graduate.
The opportunities and experiences I have gained from both industries has molded me into a very easily adaptable, motivated, quirky and dynamic personality which works great in both fields I love and strive in.
I operate under the website of trishajessica.ca [link]
My passion for graphic design is derived from making MySpace layouts when I was the age of 13 which has given a great ROI by offering me a clientele and work with a student project-based consulting firm. I have so many stories and feelings to share, and have expressed them through multiple outlets (photos, resources, graphics, etc...)
# deviantart
DevianART has truly been a key motivator in expanding my resource line, and I absolutely love comments, favourites and badges. Feel free to add my works to any groups that could benefit from them, thank you everyone for all the love for the past 4 years!
# what I do
Personally, I always felt that I had to share my tools and creativity with others so they can benefit from my work - I always have been obsessed with making most of all opportunities, and it is to all my great follower's advantage. This is where my passion for creating resources comes from. I offer many types of resources from scans, textures, brushes, patterns, origami paper stock, etc...
# terms of use
It's plain and simple. As a designer myself, I know how much of a pain in the #%$ it is to always have to ask for permission to use certain images or to not be able to use anything for commercial uses. I get that, so these are my rules and I feel that most of you will be more than happy to oblige. It makes my day to know that I can help you, but mutual respect goes a long way, and is truly appreciated <3
Basically, you're allowed to use all my resources in any projects where you are paid, or not. If you post your work on dA or anywhere else, please post a quick link to either teedesign's Twitter [link] / Facebook [link] / or Tumblr [link].
What you are NOT permitted to do is redistribute any of my resources and pretend you made them. Also, if you're making a logo for a client, for example, and they ask you if you made the brush, you are not permitted to say you did.
I love when users actually leave a comment, a heads up or an update on any works they've created, if you do this I will be more than happy to keep posting more resources - this FUELS my motivation.
Leave me a note if you are unsure if you are permitted to do something specific not mentioned here.
# thank you
& happy designing <3
